The Chinese herbal pharmacopeia offers a comprehensive and personalized internal medicine system. It is a potent complement to acupuncture that continues  momentum between treatments and treats certain conditions most effectively. Consuming earth-based medicines establishes a deeper sensory and experiential relationship to plants and other natural sources of healing.

Lifestyle and Nutrition

Our ways of being in everyday life are the focal point around which all treatment occurs. Eating, sleeping, exercise, movement, relationship, community, and perspective are assessed as integral aspects of growth and development. These lifestyle habits are the backbone of aligned care for mind, body, and spirit.

Hands-on techniques include tui na, gua sha, and cupping, and off-body techniques include of Daoist energy medicine and external qi healing. These facilitate clearing and bring fluidity to stuck places as well as promote grounding and integration. Addressing emotions in the body and working through areas of tension and absence informs patterns which shape our outlook and actions.

Energy and Bodywork

Movement and Meditation

Practices of yoga, qi gong, and tai chi unify our body, breath, and mind through conscious intention. Meditation provides an opportunity to deepen inward attention and release identification with conditioned thoughts, feelings, sensations, and emotions. The combination of focusing concentration and shifting awareness encourages embodied insight, fostering greater aliveness and present moment flow.
